If you are a high school student who is located in Lynnfield and are looking for a photographer for your senior photos that are bright and colorful I am local! Lynnfield High School senior photos are typically due around October 31st.
For senior photos students can hire any photographer they want to create a unique look that shows off their personality. From shooting a basic headshots for the yearbook which most require, to an evening gown, to sports, I have you covered. I will also help you submit your photo making sure it’s the correct crop and the sharp for your yearbook. Most yearbook photos need the image size to be at 5x7 which means the photo you select will be cropped. When the photos come out of the camera they are sized at 4x6 and when you put them in a yearbook, you will need to crop an inch off the the top and size. Leave it to me, I have you covered!
In terms of cost of senior photography the session fee is $690 and you receive a $500 print credit that goes towards prints and products. My goal is to help you find a home for your images. Do you want wall art, do you want albums, do you want prints framed? I am here to help you find the best home for your photos! Did you know most high school seniors were born right around the time of the iPhone and printed photos is a novelty to them. Seeing their images printed is really awe inspiring and why I really try and get my clients to print their images.
When trying to schedule your high schoolers photo shoot, please keep their sports schedule in mind. A lot of sports start practicing the last two weeks of summer, making scheduling a yearbook senior photo session that much harder. A lot of these teenagers have work schedules you have to work around. Then you end up needing to reschedule the shoot due to wind or rain. So the question becomes, when should you schedule your high school senior portrait session? As soon as possible, and before school year starts! Once these kids go back to school it gets that much more difficult to schedule them. Scheduling a senior session is more complicated for the kids and parents than it is for me. I have very flexible schedule and if you need to move your session, I have a zero fee change policy. I understand that between jobs, sports, final family trips and college visits, time is a hot commodity. I have you covered and can work with almost any schedule. I don’t have
Well! ME! I am a local photographer very well versed in seniors and how to get them to come out of their shell. I work hard to really find what the seniors love and also find a location that speaks to them. If you only need the one yearbook photo and have no interest in having an entire session, I am able to do backdrop senior photos, in my in-home studio.
When looking to hire a photographer for your portraits it’s easy to get overwhelmed. There are a lot of options and various price points. First, I will tell you for amazing images, you will end up spending anywhere from $1500- $4500 depending on what’s involved. Some photographers offer hair and make up and others don’t. It all gets factored into the cost. Depending on how many hours the shoot is, you will end up spending more or less. A longer more involved shoot will yield more photos, so you could end up spending more. If you only have a one hour session, you will end up with about 100 photos, and you will end up probably spending a little less than a 5 hour all day experience.
In my senior photos, I really want to treat the session like a magazine shoot where you end up being able to incorporate your favorite past time, your favorite sport, your favorite hobby and then we finish if off with a amazing portrait session (I like to call the evening wear section!).
Typically I take 400-600 photos using a typical session. From that I narrow it down to the best of the best. It typically comes out to about 100 photos to view. Parents and students tend to narrow that selection down to about 20-40.
Yes. Most of the photos that come straight out camera are in really good shape! I have been a photographer for over 20 years, and have mastered my craft. When I pull the photos into my photo editing software, I adjust them a little bit and then put them in my viewing and ordering software for you. Once you narrow down the selection and order your photos, I go through and retouch all those photos for any obvious blemishes and objects that are distracting. For the high school students I do not photoshop or retouch them. Teenagers are overrun with Instagram filters, and it’s not healthy to show them an unrealistic photo of themselves. I will never photoshop a students facial features above fixing a blemish or adjusting hair. I do smooth the texture of skin just a little bit as these cameras do such a great job at capturing details, you sometimes don’t want them to capture ALL the details.
