{"id":2859,"date":"2013-09-23T19:44:42","date_gmt":"2013-09-23T19:44:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cordelephotography.com\/blog\/?p=2859"},"modified":"2013-12-17T21:59:29","modified_gmt":"2013-12-17T21:59:29","slug":"remembering-what-every-bride-forgets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cordelephotography.com\/blog\/remembering-what-every-bride-forgets\/","title":{"rendered":"Groomsmen getting ready help"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s the one detail every bride forgets when planning her wedding: making sure the groom and groomsmen know what to do with the outfits they are wearing!<\/p>\n<p>All too often I arrive to a nervous groom getting ready.\u00a0 He is holding a wedding day item for his suit\/tux and doesn&#8217;t have the faintest idea how to use it or put it on. \u00a0The bride is getting ready in another room with both mothers helping her; however, there isn&#8217;t a single friend or mom to be found to help the men out! \u00a0(When this happens, I\u2019ve pulled up YouTube!)<\/p>\n<p>Below is a list of some of the random tasks that I have done to help the groom and groomsmen out.\u00a0 Make sure you help the guys out and show them how to do all of these tasks before the wedding. \u00a0 \u00a0 I&#8217;ve provided links!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tie-a-tie.net\">How to tie a tie\u00a0(<\/a>Do you know how many guys actually do not know how to do this?)<br \/>\nHow to tie a <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bow_tie\">bow-tie <\/a><br \/>\nHow to attach <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ehow.com\/how_2307433_wear-tuxedo-studs.html\">Tuxedo Studs<\/a><br \/>\nHow to attach a<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ask.com\/question\/where-do-you-put-a-tie-tack\"> tie tack<\/a><br \/>\nHow to pin on a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.perfectweddingguide.com\/wedding-flowers\/how-to-pin-on-a-wedding-boutonniere-and-corsage\/\">boutonni\u00e8re <\/a><br \/>\nHow to put on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wikihow.com\/Put-on-Suspenders\">suspenders<\/a><br \/>\nHow to wear a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.etuxedostore.info\/2012\/09\/05\/what-the-heck-is-a-cummerbund-and-how-do-you-wear-one\/\">cummerbund<\/a><br \/>\nHow to wear a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.details.com\/style-advice\/perfect-wardrobe\/200709\/how-men-should-wear-a-vest-photos#\/slide=1\">vest<\/a><br \/>\nHow to put a <a title=\"Westford Regency Wedding Photos\" href=\"http:\/\/www.samhober.com\/howtofoldpocketsquares\/pocketsquarefolds.htm\">folded pocket handkerchief into the pocket<\/a> (there are so many ways- pick which way and tell them!!)<br \/>\nHow to put on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wikihow.com\/Put-On-Cufflinks\">cuff links <\/a><\/p>\n<p>Look at the suit or tux selected for your wedding and make sure the men know what to do with each piece of it. \u00a0Also, make sure you have a couple of pairs of extra black socks.\u00a0 There is always one guy in the crowd who has the white socks on!<\/p>\n<p>Do you have a tip for something to remind the guys?
