{"id":1993,"date":"2012-10-09T14:31:08","date_gmt":"2012-10-09T14:31:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cordelephotography.com\/blog\/?p=1993"},"modified":"2013-08-13T17:03:05","modified_gmt":"2013-08-13T17:03:05","slug":"henderson-house-wedding-photos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cordelephotography.com\/blog\/henderson-house-wedding-photos\/","title":{"rendered":"Henderson House Wedding Photos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Erin and Mike are good friends of mine. \u00a0This has been the year of my friends all getting married, it&#8217;s really funny. \u00a0Erin and Mike got married at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thehendersonhouse.net\">Henderson House<\/a>\u00a0. \u00a0What a unique and different location. \u00a0It&#8217;s part of the Northeastern University Campus Conference network (Which Includes the Warren Conference Center). \u00a0Northeastern has yet again provided a wonderful event location for a wedding! \u00a0I always like to get a sense of the wedding from the clients side. \u00a0So I asked a few pointed questions of Erin and Mike.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vendor Roll Call<\/strong><br \/>\nDress- <a href=\"palomablanca.com\/\">Paloma Blanca<\/a><br \/>\nMike&#8217;s wedding ring: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.freedmandiamonds.com\/\">Freedman Jewelers;<\/a><br \/>\nErin&#8217;s wedding ring-\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bluenile.com\/\">Bluenile.com<\/a><br \/>\nFlowers- <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thebestweddingflowers.com\/\">My Personal Florist<\/a><br \/>\nshoes- <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dessy.com\/\">The Dessy Group<\/a><br \/>\nGrooms Attire- Banana Republic<br \/>\nRabbi- <a href=\"rabbilevbaesh.com\/\">Lev Baesh<\/a><br \/>\nMusic- White Label DJs<\/p>\n<p><strong>How did you two meet?<\/strong><br \/>\nMike approached Erin at the Charles River Esplanade in Boston on a summer afternoon. We talked for a while, then I asked if I could take her out for dinner!<\/p>\n<p><strong>How did you decide on the Henderson House? \u00a0Was it your first choice? \u00a0Was there another choice before it, and if so what was the deciding factor on choosing?<\/strong><br \/>\nErin researched dozens of venues online, and together we crossed most of them off the list. The Henderson House was actually the only venue that we saw in person. We loved the character of the building, the friendliness of the staff, and that they were flexible with the menu, vendors and schedule of events.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How did you find the vendors you used?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Henderson House prepared all the food, and they were very flexible with the menu. They made a variety of really delicious desserts, so we didn&#8217;t have a wedding cake! We heard of our florist through our friends, Nadire and Tim (blog post to follow). Jody was lovely, and did a wonderful job! And we found our DJ Casey from <a href=\"www.whitelabelweddingdjs.com\/\">White Label DJs<\/a> through a lot of online research. She met and talked with us a few times and made a fantastic playlist that we loved.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What was your favorite part of your wedding?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe ketubah signing right before the full ceremony was really intimate. It was a beautiful moment to connect with our close family and friends.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What if anything would you have changed about the day?<\/strong><br \/>\nWe wish that we had a chance to try more of the appetizers and desserts!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where are you off to for your honeymoon?<\/strong><br \/>\nWe did a quick trip to a cabin in Maine to relax right after the wedding, but we are hoping to do a full honeymoon in a few months.
