{"id":1581,"date":"2011-11-23T14:51:08","date_gmt":"2011-11-23T14:51:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cordelephotography.com\/blog\/?p=1581"},"modified":"2011-12-20T20:02:56","modified_gmt":"2011-12-20T20:02:56","slug":"engagement-photos-boston","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cordelephotography.com\/blog\/engagement-photos-boston\/","title":{"rendered":"Engagement Photos Boston"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have a love hate relationship with Facebook. \u00a0I&#8217;m not big into the postings about people&#8217;s political opinions and anger, I&#8217;m not into arguing about what we are occupying and why, and so I&#8217;ve just left my Facebook page be more photos than anything else. \u00a0 There are days that I just want to click &#8220;delete&#8221; on my account, and move on. \u00a0It&#8217;s a HUGE time suck, but then I have something amazing happen and I get over the urge to click delete.<\/p>\n<p>I have about 600 &#8220;friends&#8217; and it&#8217;s been a great way to reconnect with old friends. \u00a0You know the person you use to see or talk to all the time, and then life got in the way. A lot of my old friends love the photos I post on Facebook, and they refer me to friends, or they contact me themselves. I can&#8217;t hate Facebook for that reason. \u00a0A few months back, I got a message from my old friend Holly, from Junior High. \u00a0We were good friends and then I went on to a private high school, and she continued on in her current school. \u00a0 She said that she absolutely loved my photos and that she was recently engaged. \u00a0She wanted to meet up and talk about wedding photography. \u00a0I was thrilled, Holly is such a sweet person and I forgot how cute and fun she was. \u00a0She also has so much energy, I couldn&#8217;t wait to see her!<\/p>\n<p>When I meet with her and Alan, there was something about the way they interacted. It was almost like that movie love, that just don&#8217;t see in real life. They were very much in sync with each other and you could tell how much Alan cared for Holly. \u00a0I was so excited when they booked me. \u00a0They are getting married at the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.larzanderson.org\/Topics\/Topic.cfm?TopicName=Events\"> Larz Anderson Auto Museum<\/a> in Brookline, and I&#8217;m so excited. \u00a0Secretly, I&#8217;m a car girl. I LOVE cars, but not modern day cars. \u00a0(Although, if a Dodge Viper fell in my lap I wouldn&#8217;t complain.) \u00a0I&#8217;m a little nervous because they have something like 10 Million dollars worth of cars in the museum. \u00a0I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;ll be putting up my light stand at that wedding.
