<\/p>\nI never really post about my life and what I’m up to, only because I really wonder “does anyone care?”\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Well in the last 5 months, we bought a new house and have been settling in.\u00a0 We still have a ton of work to do on it, but it’s going to take months, if not years to get it all done.\u00a0 It might go a little faster, if we didn’t have Jake running around, and I DO mean RUNNING.\u00a0 I realize I hardly ever post about him, but he’s here.\u00a0 Normally at my feet, begging for milk or food, of having a meltdown because he’s way over due for a nap.<\/p>\n
Today was an especially amazing day.\u00a0 Today he turned 1.5 years old.\u00a0 I never realized how much my life would change with the little guy in it.\u00a0 Sure the first 4 Months, I was looking for the return policy, I won’t lie, it was hard.\u00a0\u00a0 There are days that Seth asks me something like, “Why is he crying?”, and I’ll turn and\u00a0 say “well, if you hadn’t left the baby instruction manual at the hospital, I’d know the answer”.\u00a0\u00a0 That answer usually gets a head tilt and an eye glare to which I respond with “What? I TOLD you to grab it.”<\/p>\n
All and all, even when the manual would have come in handy,\u00a0 Master Jake has been a joy in my life.\u00a0 I know I have a lot of brides read my blog.\u00a0 A lot wonder about having a kid and managing life.\u00a0\u00a0 You can do both but it takes a lot of really good wine.\u00a0 The only free time I get to myself is in the bathroom.\u00a0 The other day my husband said “You seem to spend a lot of time in there”.\u00a0 I think he’s on to me.\u00a0 I refer to it as the break room.\u00a0 I keep my iPad hidden under the cabinet and take Mommy breaks.\u00a0 Maybe I’ll start stashing wine in there too.\u00a0 (was this an over share?\u00a0 See, this is why I leave the personal stuff off the blog!)\u00a0 Please know, I’m mostly being sarcastic.\u00a0 Which part?\u00a0\u00a0 Well, that’s for you to figure out!<\/p>\n
Well, anyway, this is a photography blog, and well, I had to take his 18 Month Photos.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If you want more personal stuff, feel free to leave a comment below.\u00a0 I’m not the best writer, but I’ve been told my way with words makes people laugh.\u00a0 I have people friend me on Facebook just to see my status updates.<\/p>\n
To my husband, well it’s been 18 months, and no trips to the ER.\u00a0 I think we are doing okay!\u00a0 The first one is my favorite.\u00a0 He’s going to be a runner… just like his Daddy!<\/p>\n
