Please don’t! I stumbled across this article and I wanted to cry. This makes my job sound so.. easy<\/p>\n

Before I send you this link, the only truth (or close truth) is what we make for income. Please remember I do this FULL TIME. I work 60-80 hours a week. I give up my weekends, I miss family events, and this article makes it out to be a glamourous way to make quick pocket money. <\/p>\n

I’ve been at this 6 years. I’d like to find this guy and smack him silly. He needs to come hang out with me for a week. He wouldn’t think my job is easy pocket money. The words “part time” made me choke on my water. Shooting on a weekend, 8 hours. Answering emails, 10 hours a week. Editing (for every two hours shooting I spend 1 hour behind the computer.) For one wedding I work anywhere from 30-60 hours. ONE wedding.<\/p>\n
