Wedding Photos and Travel | Hall of Flags Wedding

It’s been about a month of pure insanity over here.   It all started with our vacation to Miami Beach and ended with this past weekend on the Cape.   We hit Miami, Block island, Philly, Plymouth, Yarmouth and Plymouth again.    Some was for work and some was for fun.  I actually got to attend a wedding in Philly of a good friend or ours.   It’s been a REALLY long four weeks of traveling, and I am SO happy to be back home.    I learned a couple things traveling.

– Read reviews on hotels on Yelp.

-Bring your own pillows!  (those smoshy pillows are ALL the rage, and are horrible horrible excuses for pillows.

– Pack twice as many shirts as you need because Murphy’s law is that it will be hot and you will need them.

I have a bunch of stuff to blog, including a portrait session and two weddings, but it going to take me a few days.     I need about 6 more hours in day.  On my road trip to Philly, I went through my inbox, and got it down from 779 messages to 36 in the span of a week its back up to 137, and it’s like shoveling while it’s snowing.

Below is a wedding image of my friend Jacques and his wife Lisa.  I didn’t shoot the wedding, I actually got  to be a guest.  It was nice being a guest and not having to work (and Thank goodness for that – it was 100 degrees out!)  I only took a couple photos (seriously) because I wasn’t working, and if I take photos – it’s work.   This was one of my favorites of the first dance.
