Pomfret School, Clark Chapel Conneticut Wedding Photos, Backyard wedding

Erin and Patrick where married at the Pomfret School in Pomfret Connecticut at the end of August.  Patrick once was a student at this private school.  When I arrived I instantly feel in love with the Chapel.

Mirrored after an 1800 century Chapel in England, it was unique to most of the churches and Chapel’s I photograph in around New England.  I had to be-careful not to pull all the formal photos in front of the church.  You’ll see, it was really pretty!

The wedding reception was actually a backyard wedding, and at first ,I have to be honest, I was a little nervous.  I didn’t know what to expect.  Checker colored table clothes?  Not at this wedding! It was probably one of the prettiest weddings I’ve been too.  Erin’s dad and Patrick spent all summer clearing out the backyard.  They put up a tent and ordered tables and linens.  It was fantastic and so much fun! They should rent their backyard out.   Below are a few of my favorites..
