We received over 400 comments for the July comment contest! It took me over an hour to count them all up!
I am happy to announce the winner of the 11×14 print goes to the parents of this little one! (please email me, link to right –>) This picture received 100 comments! it was a tight race. Another photo received 97 comments. I counted twice so I know number 5 is the winner!

Here’s the contest for the month of August.
Get out there… with the camera, the camera phone or in the mail. I want to see some Sunflowers coming my way! The Sunflowers photos that really make me smile will get a prize. There are a couple different prizes involved. For the best Sunflower picture the winner will receive a Garmin GPS. The pictures are NOT judged on your photography skills. They are judged on you keeping your eye out for Sunflowers and the most creative place you find them.
ANYONE can play (clients, friends of clients, photographers.) You can enter as many times as you like. When you see a sunflower snap a photo. Sunflowers are everywhere, just keep an eye out. They can be on a notecard, a postcard, a wood carving, a drawing or a flower in a garden. (Camera phone, point and shoot, or a postcard in the mail) If you get a ladybug in the Photo WITH the sunflower, you get a $5.00 gift card to Dunkin Donuts.
All you have to do is find Sunflowers and send them to me. Photos sent to me will be posted on my blog. If it’s another photographers photo it won’t count. It has to be YOUR photo. (It can be a photo of a photo on a wall… but the wall entire wall must be present) IF the contest becomes too tough for me to judge I may post a poll to have you help me out.
