Bridget and Michael had the best engagement session (and I say this because they brought a dog!). I was equally as excited, but a bit disappointed, to shoot their wedding sans dog! Bridget and Michael are runners and they meet when Michael’s brother invited Bridget to run a leg of a relay race around Lake Winnipesaukee. Michael handed her the baton! I asked her how she got engaged, and she stated, ” Michael made me dinner on our five year anniversary. He made the same meal we had on our first date. He made a joke of the proposal (he put a candy ring in my drink). I wasn’t sure if he was being serious!”
I asked Bridget how they found all the vendors they used and it turns out that she is an internet super sleuth and did most of her planning via The Knot and reading a lot of wedding websites! She had (obviously) the best vendors in town! She found the reviews to be really helpful and honest.
Their wedding was simple and elegant and the festivities started off at Woods Hill Table in West Concord, MA. Apparently on the day of the wedding Michael took Bridget for a “short” run which ended up being not so short! She loved seeing all her friends and family in one place and when asked “what if anything would you have changed about your wedding?” She said “THE WEATHER! It was SOOOO humid!” . I would have to agree, my hair was a bit poofy and I’m just starting to get the kinks out of it.
