Shawn from Burlington and AJ from Amherst, the outdoor location was perfect for Wisconsin transplant farm owners. The Codman Estate was meant to host their wedding.
They put so much thought into the details, including bringing beef from their own farm raised cows and wheat from their fields punctuated the decor. But it didn’t stop there; Shawn’s ring was designed to represent blades of grass (for the farmer in AJ) and her engagement rings stones represent the ocean (where she works as a scientist).
Even with the torrential downpour, AJ was all smiles. He even said “I don’t mind the rain, it helps things grow, I’m a farmer!” That kind of attitude is evident in their behavior throughout the night – I mean, really, how sincerely sweet are these two?
